The Warm Buddy Company is committed to helping non-profit organizations that rehabilitate bears and educate the public on bear matters. Proceeds from the sale of our Warm Buddy "Beary the Bear" go to the rehabilitation of bear cubs that are then sent back into their natural habitats.

Warm Buddy Company works closely with Bear Matters BC to support initiatives intended to educate not only the general public but also the many stakeholder organizations with an interest in and an impact on all bears of British Columbia. Bear Matters BC's goal is to conserve all species of wild bear populations, by providing a forum to foster a better understanding of bear behavior and the necessity to preserve bear habitat. Bear Matters BC was founded in 2006 by Barbara Murray and is based in North Vancouver.

In our first year of supporting Bear Matters BC we were able to raise $8600 for the four bear rehabilitation centres in the province of BC. This money was used mostly for the purposes of feeding orphan bear cubs.
