January 18, 2012 - Press Release
COME OUT OF THE COLD THIS WINTER WITH WARM
BUDDY:
VANCOUVER, BC – The Warm Buddy Company, the creators of those feel good products that warm and comfort body and soul, have a few ideas that will provide some welcome relief from the cold winter days and nights ahead. Here are a few warm-up hints:
1. If you don’t have heated car seats – simply stick your Warm Buddy warming pillow (or body wrap) in the microwave (as per product instructions) for a few minutes. Then take the pillow out to your car and place it on your seat for a few minutes before venturing out into the cold.
2.
Even if you have heated car seats, the Warm Buddy warming pillow will warm it up in an instant – well before the vehicle’s system takes effect.
3.
Save on heating bills when you curl up on the couch with Warm Buddy warming blankets, cozy robes, and slippers.
4.
Take that luxurious Warm Buddy ultra cozy throw blanket with its luxurious fur-like quality and put it under the covers next to you – not only will you feel like a million, but you’ll be velvety warm in an instant.
5.
Suffering from the winter blahs? Try renting your favourite DVD, make a cup of hot chocolate (with marshmallows) and cuddle up with your heated Warm Buddy Bear for an evening of self indulgence.
Founded by Karen McKee in 1995, the Warm Buddy Company is a Canadian made company headquartered in North Vancouver. Warm Buddy Home and Spa Comfort Products are the highest quality and longest heat holding packs and wraps available. Products can be heated in the microwave (or cooled in the freezer) to promote relaxation and produce natural relief from aches, pains and stress.
Last June, Warm Buddy’s plush animals helped give comfort to Children in Japan affected by the devastating earthquake. In addition to numerous accolades and testimonials over the years, Warm Buddy was honoured with the Parent Tested, Parent Approved Award in 2009 (a US award).

Listen to Lina is a popular blog site and she has featured Warm Buddy products several times. Recently she held a contest for her listeners to win a Warm Buddy Body Wrap. Here is what the winners have had to say about their new Warm Buddy heat wraps:
"I love my warm buddy! It's so soft and warm (or cold) and it's a great size too. Not too big but not so tiny that you have to keep moving it around to spread the heat. The lavender sent is my favorite too - you can tell it's real lavender and not that fake lavender smell."
"YES HOLLER!!!! Best thing since sliced bread. I love this thing. My b/f stole it from me the first night I had it, then I made him "read" why I was so lucky to have a warm buddy. We share it because he loves it as well. The lavender scent is sooo soothing and the design is awesome. Thanks so much, I too literally use this buddy every night."
"I love mine! I love the smell, I love the warmth & I love the way it feels. I was also surprised at how long the heat lasted. I am definitely using this guy in the winter when it's cold to help me sleep. This reminds me that I should probably could use my Warm Buddy right now. I am a little sore from working out yesterday."

A very rare Styan Red Panda was born at the Valley Zoo in Edmonton. The Zoo has become a leader in breeding and raising red pandas. Cubs previously born at the Zoo are now in accredited facilities throughout North America in support of the Species Survival Program.
Warm Buddy animals have become Sha-lei's favorite sleep companions. The pandas love the soft fur and gentle warmth of their Warmbuddies. Warm Buddies have been used by the Valley Zoo to comfort all their newborns and injured animals.
